Habersham commissioners approve countywide framework for probate-judge case compensation

Habersham County commissioners unanimously approved a resolution Sept. 16, 2024 establishing compensation for future cases involving the county probate judge, according to the Board of Commissioners meeting minutes. The board voted 4-0 after a motion and second. Before the vote, commissioners removed Judge Pamela Wooley’s name from the measure, recasting it as a policy for the probate-judge office rather than a resolution tied to one judge.
