Fairview Elementary Neighbors Press Habersham Officials Over Growing Equipment Pile

A Habersham County resident told the Planning Commission on Oct. 3, 2023 that an expanding accumulation of equipment near Fairview Elementary School and Cannon Bridge Road had grown into what he described as a junkyard, bringing traffic and safety concerns to a route used around the school. The public comment put the matter before county planners, but the meeting minutes do not record a commission decision.
