Habersham Ends Aquatic Center Admission Fees for County Residents, but Start Date Is Unclear

Habersham County commissioners unanimously approved eliminating Aquatic Center admission fees for county residents at their Oct. 18, 2021, regular meeting, ending the general-access charge for local swimmers and families while preserving fees for several other types of use. Parks and Recreation Director Kurt Cooper presented the change before Commissioner Palmer made the motion and Commissioner Harkness seconded it.
