Habersham’s grant-funded ambulance proposal still lacks a documented outcome

Habersham County’s proposed purchase of a new Frazer 2023 F-450 Type I ambulance remains unresolved in the public record nearly four years after commissioners were scheduled to consider it. The item appeared on the Board of Commissioners’ Oct. 17, 2022 regular-meeting agenda and identified Assistance to Firefighters Grant, or AFG, funds as the proposed source, but the agenda does not say whether the board approved, rejected or deferred the request.
