Habersham Approved Airport Tug, but Long-Term Service Plan Remains Unclear

Habersham County commissioners unanimously approved the purchase of a 2024 Lektro aircraft tug for Habersham County Airport at their April 9, 2024 regular meeting. The ground-support equipment is intended to move aircraft on the airport, and the board’s discussion also raised a practical question that remains unanswered in that meeting record: who would handle its continuing service and maintenance.
