Habersham board pulls development authority reactivation before it reaches a vote

Habersham County commissioners on April 17, 2023, removed from their regular-meeting agenda a planned consideration of reactivating the Constitutional Development Authority, preventing the proposal from coming before the board at that meeting. The board voted 4-1 to replace the item with a first reading on updates to the county ethics code; Commissioner Palmer cast the lone dissenting vote.
