The story
In February 2025, the Habersham County Board of Commissioners approved, 5-0, Addendum #1 to the county's FY24-25 contract with Legacy Link covering the Senior Center's nutrition, wellness and transportation programs.
The board approved further amendments to the same contract over the following months: Addendum #2 in June 2025, and in July 2025 both Addendum #3 to the FY2025 contract and a separate Addendum #1 to the FY2024 contract, each passing 5-0.
In December 2025 commissioners approved, 5-0, a new FY 2026 contract with Legacy Link for the Senior Center's nutrition, wellness and transportation services, following October 2025 packets that proposed the agreement and its funding amounts.
In March 2026 the board approved, 3-1, a local share commitment letter pledging $16,000 toward Legacy Link's FY26-27 senior services. In April 2026 it approved, 3-0, both the FY2026 contract for Senior Center aging, wellness, nutrition and transportation services and a first addendum to that contract.
Most recently, on June 15, 2026, the board approved, 4-0, a second addendum to the FY2026 contract with Legacy Link for the Senior Center.
