Habersham elections-office renovation remains unverified more than three years after proposal

Habersham County’s proposed renovation of space for its elections office and south voting precinct remains unconfirmed as a county project more than three years after Soque Contracting submitted its plan to commissioners. The May 17, 2023 proposal called for work at the old Ingles/Sears building in the Cornelia Ingles Shopping Center, but no county vote, executed contract, funding authorization or completion record is established here.
