Habersham proposal could add $10 to every magistrate court case

Habersham County commissioners discussed a proposal on Feb. 19, 2024, that could allow the Habersham County Magistrate Court to add a $10 technology fee to every case it hears. The measure, identified in the county’s work-session minutes as proposed House Bill 952, was presented as a way for the court to recover technology costs.
