Habersham authority approves Piedmont bond extensions, but key follow-through remains unclear

The Habersham Development Authority voted 4-0 on Sept. 12, 2024, to grant 18-month maturity extensions on Piedmont University’s 2013 and 2014 revenue bonds. The approved minutes record a motion and second for the extensions and note that authority member Jeff Bruns did not participate because he was employed by Piedmont.
