Habersham Development Authority’s spending-signature rules remain unresolved in public record

The Habersham County Development Authority considered creating rules for who may sign off on expenditures and contract renewals at its Feb. 2, 2023 regular meeting, after discussion indicated that the authority had no set guidelines. Members discussed using the county purchasing policy for invoices, spending and renewals, but the meeting minutes do not record a motion, vote or final approval of particular rules.
