Habersham advances courthouse redevelopment plan, leaving gazebo and memorial outside offer

Habersham County commissioners unanimously approved a memorandum of understanding for redevelopment of the old courthouse at their May 9, 2024, regular meeting, moving the proposal into a formal agreement stage. The approved meeting minutes also record Alicia Vaughn’s statement that Parkside’s offer did not include the gazebo or memorial.
