Habersham’s promised safety action plan remains undocumented after October target

More than a year after Habersham County staff outlined a schedule for a safety action plan, the documented outcome remains unresolved. At the county Board of Commissioners’ March 17, 2025 meeting, Mr. Baggett said staff would draft the plan after a resolution passed, with a preliminary draft targeted for June, a final draft for August and planned adoption at the commission’s October 2025 meeting. The meeting minutes do not establish that the plan later came before commissioners or was adopted.
