Habersham County Starts Search for Fire-Response Insurance Reimbursement Service

Habersham County commissioners unanimously voted Oct. 18, 2021, to authorize staff to prepare and issue a request for proposals for a service that would invoice insurers after county fire and emergency-service responses. The vote opened a search for a contractor to pursue possible reimbursements; it did not approve a deal with a company.
