Habersham ethics-panel review left appointments and complaint-rule changes unsettled

Habersham County commissioners took up appointments to the county’s full Ethics Panel and possible changes to its ethics-policy procedures during an April 17, 2023 work session, but the discussion ended without a recorded appointment, policy amendment or board decision. The county attorney told commissioners that the full panel was due for appointment and raised the question of how complaints involving commissioners should be handled.
