Habersham Weighs Hall County Deal to Keep Paper Recycling Out of Landfill

Habersham County commissioners considered a proposed agreement Aug. 19, 2024, that could send the county’s recyclable cardboard and mixed-paper products to Hall County instead of the landfill. The proposal came as Habersham’s current paper-products vendor was expected to stop serving the county at the end of the quarter, according to drafted Board of Commissioners minutes.
