Habersham airport tug order shifted after $5,000 shipping dispute

Habersham County airport staff said June 11, 2024, that a needed airport tug had been ordered from the next bidder after the vendor originally awarded the bid sought an additional $5,000 for shipping that was not included in its bid. Tim Sims told the airport meeting the replacement order was expected to arrive within three to six months.
