Habersham tax assessors appointment remained unsettled after February tabling

Habersham County commissioners put Commissioner Mealor’s appointment to the county tax assessors board back on their March 21, 2022 agenda after the matter was tabled at the Feb. 21 meeting. The proposed three-year term was for the seat formerly held by Steve Lindley, whose term had expired Dec. 31, 2021; Ernest Buck Snyder was listed as an applicant.
