Habersham’s proposed $1.04 million road grant leaves 5.83 miles in question

Habersham County commissioners considered an application April 21, 2025, for approximately $1.04 million in one-time Georgia Department of Transportation road-assistance funding that could add 5.83 miles of resurfacing to the county’s 2025 program. More than a year later, the meeting record still does not show whether commissioners approved the application or whether it moved beyond discussion.
