Habersham’s Proposed UGA Extension Agreement Still Lacks a Recorded Outcome

Habersham County’s Board of Commissioners placed a proposed memorandum of agreement with the University of Georgia for extension services and personnel on its Aug. 17, 2026, meeting agenda, identifying the item for possible approval. The record tied to that agenda, however, does not show whether commissioners approved the agreement, changed it, deferred it or rejected it.

That unresolved action matters because the proposed memorandum concerns the county’s formal arrangement for University of Georgia extension services and the personnel associated with them.
