Habersham County’s proposed new animal-control facility remains without a documented public approval to enter design. At the Board of Commissioners’ March 21, 2022 meeting, the county manager said the Finance Department had completed requests for qualifications, or RFQs, for the facility and said approval that night would allow the project to proceed into design. The cited minutes excerpt, however, does not say commissioners approved the RFQs.
