Habersham weather-siren proposal leaves contract terms and board decision unanswered
Habersham County’s Board of Commissioners considered a possible contract award for automated weather sirens at its Sept. 15, 2025 meeting, placing a potentially countywide warning-system purchase before the board. The next public step would be a commission action, executed contract, purchase record or project update that names the vendor and sets out the cost, sites and installation schedule. Until one of those records is published, residents cannot tell whether the proposed award was approved or how—if it was—the automated weather-siren project will proceed.
