Habersham Fitness Bid Still Unresolved After Question Over Keeping Two Facilities Open

Nearly two years after Habersham County commissioners discussed a proposal for Ms. Daniels to take over the county fitness program, the public work-session record still does not establish that the county awarded her the work. At the Board of Commissioners’ Nov. 18, 2024 work session, Commissioner Harkness asked Daniels whether she could keep two facilities open if she assumed responsibility for the program.
