Habersham County Clears More Ways to Pay Taxes, but Rules Are Still Unclear

Habersham County’s Board of Commissioners authorized Tax Commissioner June Black-Watren on Dec. 16, 2024, to accept county tax payments by check, money order, ACH transfer, credit card and debit card. The action, recorded in the board’s meeting minutes, gives the tax commissioner formal authority to take both paper and electronic forms of payment.
