Wade Property’s Towing and Storage Status Remains Unresolved After County Discussion

Habersham County commissioners discussed conditions at the Wade property during their Aug. 21, 2023, regular meeting after a commissioner asked how the county handles junk vehicles there. County staff said the normal approach is to issue a warning and give the owner time to remove vehicles, while identifying a separate unresolved question: whether the commission would approve commercial towing and storage-yard activity at the property.
