Habersham County commits $2.58 million to runway safety and terminal expansion

Habersham County commissioners unanimously approved $2.581 million in bids Feb. 20, 2023, for safety work around the county airport runway and an expansion of its terminal. The action, taken at the commission’s regular meeting after Airport Manager Will Regan addressed the board, moved forward a Runway Object Free Area project and terminal improvements at the county-owned facility.
