Habersham broadband grant announcement offered promise but few answers

Habersham County commissioners scheduled an “Announcement of Broadband Grant Award” for their regular meeting on Feb. 21, 2022, placing a potentially important internet-access development before the public. The agenda entry, however, gave residents no recipient, dollar amount, provider or service area—and it did not record an action by the board.
