Habersham airport’s upper gate still fails in rain as rewiring is planned

Habersham County Airport’s upper gate was still malfunctioning in rainy weather as of the airport’s Feb. 11, 2025, meeting, despite several return visits by the original installers. Airport Manager Bill Harden told the board that those efforts had not corrected the problem. Officials had contacted C&C to inspect the gate, and the vendor planned to rewire the entire gate as part of the troubleshooting effort.
