Habersham airport lighting plan remains short of bids and contract approval

Habersham County’s airport lighting project was still at the planning-and-procurement stage when the Airport Commission met Feb. 11, 2025. Commissioners discussed advertising the work, allowing contractors 30 days to submit bids and then bringing the results back for commission and county review before any contract could be executed. The approved minutes do not document a bid opening, award, signed contract or start of construction.
