Habersham runway rehabilitation funding remains unconfirmed after grant item appears in county record

Nearly three years after a Habersham County meeting record listed an item to “Approve/Accept FAA and GDOT Grant to rehabilitate Runway 6/24,” the public record described here still does not establish whether the county accepted the funding or moved the airport project forward. The Oct. 12, 2023 official minutes excerpt identifies the proposed runway-grant item, but it records no motion, vote or final county action on it.
