Tree growth near Habersham airport approach lights leaves larger-aircraft goal unresolved

Habersham airport officials identified tree growth as a problem for the airport’s PAPI approach lights at their June 6, 2022 regular meeting, saying the condition needed to be corrected as the airport sought to attract larger aircraft. Officials said they would obtain test results and then work to schedule an FAA safety flight check as soon as possible.
