Habersham Airport Delays Rules That Could Govern Hangar Lease Transfers

Habersham Airport officials unanimously tabled proposed rules governing hangar ground-lease transfers at their Jan. 9, 2024 regular meeting, postponing a decision until February. The action left in limbo a possible county first-purchase option when a tenant seeks to transfer a hangar lease, a period for replacing an aircraft and a proposed $360 monthly ground-lease fee.
