Habersham officials raise alarm over tall towers near airport airspace

Habersham County officials raised the prospect of seeking state protections for airport airspace at their Feb. 13, 2024 regular meeting, after Mr. McDonald cited what he described as a recently built 1,600-foot T-Mobile tower and objections to another tower proposed near an airport. He said Georgia needed legislation to address airport concerns about tall structures.
