Habersham Airport Faces Persistent Runway-Light Failures, but Repair Plan Remains Unset

Habersham County Airport staff reported Feb. 6, 2023, that continuing failures in the airport’s pilot-controlled runway-lighting system were forcing crews to replace more than 20 bulbs each week across the runway. Staff said they were pursuing a loaner transformer to help diagnose the problem while considering possible lighting-replacement options.
