Habersham airport considers narrow route for businesses in existing hangars

The Habersham Airport Commission considered whether commercial businesses could operate from existing airport hangars during its Nov. 1, 2021 meeting, after Ralph Taylor said the airport’s Minimum Standards did not provide for that use. Rather than opening every hangar to commercial activity, Taylor recommended that commissioners weigh requests one applicant and one hangar at a time, with lease amendments required for those uses.
