Habersham’s Plan for Backup Generators at Two County Buildings Still Lacks a Public Outcome

Habersham County’s effort to secure backup generators for its Road Department and Administrative Building still has no recorded result. At a March 21, 2022 Board of Commissioners meeting, the county manager reported that the EMA/E911 director was applying for grant funding for two generators, one planned for each building; the meeting record does not say whether the grant was awarded or either unit was obtained.
