Habersham County Pursued Grant for Backup Generators at Two County Buildings

Habersham County was seeking grant funding for two backup generators intended for the county Road Department and Administrative Building, County Manager Phil Sutton told the Board of Commissioners at its March 21, 2022 regular meeting. Sutton said EMA/E911 Director Lynn Smith was applying for the grant, describing a funding effort rather than equipment already bought or put into service.
