Habersham’s possible higher bid threshold leaves road funding and oversight questions open

Habersham County commissioners were told at their Feb. 19, 2024 work session that proposed state legislation could bring the county roughly $850,000 more for road maintenance and change when public-works projects must be competitively bid.
