Habersham Fairground contract changes remain stalled pending county review
Proposed changes to the Habersham County Fairground contract and related forms remain on hold after members tabled all of them at their Sept. 16, 2025 meeting and called for a deeper county review of the language. Signed meeting minutes say Terry Lannon was to initiate that review, but they record no approval of the proposed revisions.

The next public indication of movement would be a county review record, revised Fairground forms or contract language, or meeting minutes showing the proposals have returned for consideration. Until then, residents do not know what revisions the review may recommend or whether members will approve them, amend them again or leave the tabled changes untouched.
