The story
A proposal before the Habersham County Board of Commissioners asked to renew a facility usage agreement letting Piedmont University's swim team use the Natatorium and support amenities. The proposal listed figures of $4,000 and $25.00 per team participant per month, not to exceed $1,000 per month.
On July 21, 2025, the Board of Commissioners approved the renewal of the facility use agreement with Piedmont University for use of the lap pool at the Ruby C. Fulbright Aquatic Center for the university's competitive swim team, by a vote of 5-0.
