Habersham County has covered E911 budget shortfalls with general fund transfers

At a June 2025 work session, Habersham County commissioners discussed that the county has had to offset the E911 Department's expenses by supplementing it from the general fund, with those funds tracked under a line item called "E911 Transfer."
