Piedmont bond extension left a 2024 deadline for Habersham Development Authority

Habersham County’s Development Authority unanimously voted May 4, 2023, to extend Piedmont University’s 2013 bond through October 2024, giving the university additional time under its existing financing arrangement. The authority also authorized its chair and secretary to sign the related Third Amendment Resolution, according to approved meeting minutes.
