Clarkesville keeps courthouse redevelopment proposal alive, but refund and revised terms remain unsettled

Clarkesville City Council voted 5-0 on Sept. 12, 2024, to give Parkside Partners another 90 days of due diligence for its proposed redevelopment and repurposing of the courthouse property. The unanimous action, recorded in the city’s approved meeting minutes, preserved the proposal for further review under an amended memorandum of understanding rather than approving a final redevelopment arrangement.
