A February 2025 county financial update put total SPLOST VII collections at $36,347,593 through the end of 2024, 10% above projections and 33% above pre-Covid levels. Of the $47,110,939 total proposed project budget, $28,596,828 had been spent and $2,361,912 encumbered, leaving $16,152,199, or 61% of the budget used.
