Habersham considers coordinator to close protective-order compliance gap

Habersham County commissioners considered creating a part-time coordinator to monitor compliance with certain civil family-violence protective orders at their April 15, 2024, meeting. The proposed position would follow people ordered into family-violence intervention programs in civil cases, but the meeting record does not show that commissioners voted to create the job or that anyone was hired.
