Habersham’s Twice-Weekly Farmers Market Proposal Remains Unbuilt

More than three years after Habersham County Commissioner Palmer suggested exploring a county farmers market open two days a week, the idea still has not emerged in the documented record as an approved or operating county program. Palmer raised the proposal during the Board of Commissioners’ Feb. 20, 2023, work session; no later county decision, location, operating plan, funding action or opening date is established here.
