Habersham weighs whether to fund regular roadside litter cleanup

Habersham County’s discussion of more regular roadside litter removal remains at the exploratory stage after resident Marie Bartliff asked the County Commission on March 18, 2024, to budget for cleanup along county roads. At that meeting, county management said Public Works Director Jerry Baggett had contacted private vendors for quotes that could be brought into the budget process.
