Habersham Considered ARP Bid for Stormwater, Communications Projects as Deadline Loomed

With an Aug. 31, 2021 application deadline approaching, Habersham County commissioners discussed seeking American Rescue Plan funds for potential stormwater work and a possible communications project at their Aug. 16 work session. County staff said $8 million was slated for local release through the funding opportunity and that counties had already received half of that amount.
