Habersham Property Plan Moves Forward, but Purchase and Financing Remain Unresolved

Habersham County officials on April 17, 2025, advanced discussion of a possible purchase of property earmarked for the county, citing the county’s first right of refusal and considering bonds, a tax allocation district or other financing tools. The discussion, however, said a Board of Commissioners approval would still be required before a purchase could proceed.
