Habersham assessors seek two appraisal managers, but county funding is still unresolved

Habersham County’s Board of Assessors unanimously voted June 26, 2023, to amend its 2023/24 budget request to seek two additional appraisal-management posts: another deputy chief appraiser and an assistant chief appraiser. The action put the request into the county budget process, but it did not itself create positions, appropriate money or authorize recruitment.
